Key Focus Areas |Corridor Improvements

A gateway and corridor program will enhance Irving’s visual image and identity by creating regional entry gateways into the city along highways and major thoroughfares.

•    Establish a unifying theme for the city.
•    Improve the aesthetics along major corridors and intersections.
•    $2 million designated for Irving Boulevard improvements from projected gas lease revenues.
•    Increase the use of monument signs and update roadways, sidewalks and signalization at several intersections.
